The Reuss-Castell-Castell nuptials

Prince Heinrich XXIV Reuss married Countess Dorothea zu Castell-Castell at Iphofen in September 21.

The groom is the son of Prince Heinrich X Reuss and his first wife, Baroness Elisabeth Åkerhielm af Margrethelund.    His bride is the daughter of Count Alexander zu CastellCastell and his first wife, Marion Stepps.

My thanks to Ulrike Bartsch, who took the photos.  She owns the copyright to the photos.  Do not copy them, please.

A nice picture (#4) of the groom's sister Princess Benigna von Reuss, her husband Oscar de Ascoz y Planes and their baby.

I read in the coverage of Princess Benigna's wedding that her mother converted to Roman Catholicism and that she and her brother were raised Catholic.

Was this an inter-denominational wedding or a Lutheran one? I think the Castell-Casyells are Lutheran.

Beautiful bride.
