Princess Victoria "gravely ill"

April 2, 1926

Buckingham Palace has released the following bulletin concerning the health of Princess Victoria, sister of King George V.

"The pneumonic process is improving.  The strain on the strength of Her Royal Highness is great."

The Princess has been seen by her doctors, and a new bulletin was not issued this evening, as there is no change in the Princess' condition.

Queen Maud of Norway has arrived in England, reports the New York Times.  In "consequence of her sister's grave illness,"  the queen is staying with King George V and Queen Mary at Buckingham Palace.
